Sleeping Beauty

Barry Crossley

As their Winter Pantomime, Norton Players are delighted to present Sleeping Beauty, by Barry Crossley.

Princess Aurora is born with great beauty and has a wonderful christening, but the evil fairy Carabosse is not invited. When she finds out she seeks revenge and curses our heroine. She will prick her finger and die. Can Nurse Nelly and Muddles protect Aurora? Will Prince Valiant save the day? How does the castle survive with a silly King and stupid guards? Why are there so many questions? A rip-roaring ride from start to finish, Sleeping Beauty definitely won’t send you to sleep!

Performance dates are Wednesday 27th November to Saturday 30th November 2019 at Coal Aston Village Hall, Eckington Road, Sheffield S18 3AX.

Doors open 7pm, curtain up at 7.15pm, with a matinee at 2:30pm on Saturday.

The Ruler of this panto land,

Is King Putupon the Second,

To whom a daughter has been born,

To his Palace we have been beckoned.

To see the girl named after the dawn,

Her name it is Aurora.

She’s filled their lives with sunshine,

From now on we’ll all adore her.

Off I go now to the Palace -

I’ll see you in no time.

So hiss and cheer with all your might,

And enjoy our pantomime!
