We are a small, amateur dramatics group based in Coal Aston, near Dronfield and Sheffield, who undertake many forms of stage-based art in our bid to entertain the public. We have good, clean and modern amenities in our theatre at Coal Aston Village Hall, that include a stage, rehearsal areas, refreshments, storage, lighting and sound equipment.

Our Facilities

Coal Aston Village Hall has good disabled facilities and the level floor makes it suitable for wheelchairs. The stage set-up is usually elaborate, and we try to bring in new ideas when ever possible. Although we do not have set roles, the group has a requirement for many different areas, details of which can be find below. We like to put on live music and welcome musicians who can contribute and put their skills into practice. The actors have a wide variety of roles to audition for and manage to fit it around family and working life. We welcome you to join us if you have an interest in fun, laughter, hard work, drama and performance or just being involved in a group and helping out.

There are up to ten committee members responsible for the running of NP and as committee members, they will make decisions as a collective group and hold joint responsibility for decisions and actions taken by the management committee, even in their absence. They are responsible for ensuring that all decisions are taken in the best interests of the organisation and that their role is carried out effectively.
